Measure Letter
Our standard proposal letter once we have measured.
This would be accompanied with your computer diagram of the area(s) we are quoting on, with a full breakdown of price and procedure.

Dear Customer,

Thank you for giving The Floor Store the opportunity to put this quote together for you. Enclosed is a detailed breakdown of price and procedure for the area that you had us measure based on the material that you have chosen for that area [or, the material used as an example in the absence of a final choice]. Please take the time to examine all the enclosed information. We believe that it is thorough and as complete as possible at this time. If you have any questions about any part of it, or would like to add or delete any part or parts of it, this is an excellent time to discuss changes of any kind. Once the basic information has been plugged in as you now see it, proposed changes can take place easily. All proposals will be kept on file for your information or review and will be made available to you on request.

If everything seems in order and you would like to proceed with all or any part of the enclosed proposal, just let us know. The next step is for us to send a final work order outlining in detail what you have approved. This work order would request your signature and a 50% deposit. We also want you to be aware ahead of time that payment in full is required the day of installation. If this poses a problem because you may be out of town or unavailable, we will want to make specific arrangements with you. You will be provided with a self-addressed, stamped envelope so that you can return the paperwork in the mail [or, you could stop by the store]. At that time, your order will be placed and an installation date can be set.

If at any time you'd like to ask any questions on the phone, please don't hesitate to call. Our 232-7175 number has a 24 hour a day answering service on it, and we will return your call if you should phone when no one is here to talk to you personally. We will be in touch with you in approximately two weeks if we have not heard from you to answer any questions that you may have or to expedite your order.
